SAFETY ON THE STREETS

Welcome the Guardian Angels!

Since the 1970's, the Guardian Angels have been offering expansion into Toronto. Based in New York, and present in over 80 cities around the world, the Guardian Angels have encouraged neighborhoods to bring safety to the streets. Toronto will only be safe when the people decide to make it safe.

Part of Campaign Donations Will Go to Guardian Angels

Toronto City Hall pays rebates to eligible donors, ranging from 40% to 75% of the donation. For each donation to the Glenn4Mayor campaign, an amount equal to the rebate will be given to help support the Guardian Angels. For more information, go to Donations page.

Guns Don't Kill People, Bullets Kill People

Do you know what it takes to buy ammunition in Ontario? You have to be 18 years old, and show ID. That's it. There are even exceptional licenses that allow children aged 12-17 to buy ammunition.

The current challenge with shootings in the city of Toronto can be reduced by making ammunition much more difficult to access. The city of Toronto, and all surrounding regions, could ban all sales of ammunition. It was done for firecrackers, why not for bullets?

Education and Opportunity Development

Much of street violence is encouraged by hopelessness and desperation. When people truly believe that existence in a peaceful environment is better, it can happen. Belief in a positive world can only manifest with hope, and hope is strengthened through positive experience.

Along with the Business Opportunity Center described on the page Thriving Business, advisory services and educational assistance can be available for all who wish to progress. The city cannot guarantee a prosperous path for everyone, but we can sure make it easier to succeed.
